Goeazzy (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides commute reminders, traffic-aware alerts, and Smart Alarm features. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: email address and basic profile data through Google Sign-In.
• Commute data: origin/destination names, coordinates, schedule preferences (arrival/departure), active days, route options, and travel-time estimates.
• Calendar data (with permission): event title, event time, event location, and optional notes used for Smart Alarm features.
• Location data: foreground location (when permitted) for commute setup, route functions, and related analytics features.
• Notification data: push token(s), notification preferences (including sound mode), and notification timestamps/status.
• Subscription data: subscription entitlement/status and related purchase metadata via RevenueCat.
• Advertising-related technical data: ad request metadata and identifiers processed by AdMob for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
• Technical/diagnostic data: app logs and backend/edge-function logs used for reliability, security, and debugging.

2. How We Use Data

We use data to:

• provide commute reminders, traffic checks, and Smart Alarm notifications;
• calculate route timing and on-time metrics;
• read and process relevant upcoming calendar events to generate predictive leave-time alerts;
• send local and push notifications for commute and event reminders;
• operate subscriptions (Pro/free entitlements);
• serve ads in the free tier;
• maintain app security, performance, and troubleshooting.

3. Calendar & Smart Alarm Processing

If you enable calendar permission, Goeazzy reads limited calendar event fields (title, time, location, optional notes) to detect travel-relevant events and compute traffic-aware reminders.

Event-derived routing records (such as destination text, derived coordinates, origin source, arrival buffer, and reminder state timestamps) may be stored in backend systems to deliver alerts reliably.

Goeazzy does not use your calendar data for ad personalization.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following providers to operate the app:

• Supabase (authentication, database, server/edge functions)
• Google APIs (Google Sign-In, Maps/Routes/Geocoding)
• Expo Notifications (notification infrastructure)
• RevenueCat (subscription and entitlement management)
• Google AdMob (free-tier advertising)

Each provider processes data according to its own privacy terms.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.

We share data only with service providers required to run core app functionality (listed above), and only to the extent needed to provide the service, prevent fraud/abuse, and maintain reliability.

6. Data Retention

We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide service functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

For Smart Alarm/event-derived records, retention is limited to operational need (active reminder lifecycle, reliability, and auditing) unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You can:

• revoke calendar permission in device settings;
• revoke location permission in device settings;
• disable notifications in device settings;
• manage subscription status through platform billing settings;
• request account and data deletion by contacting us.

9. Children’s Privacy

Goeazzy is not directed to children under 13 (or equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. International Processing

Your data may be processed on cloud infrastructure in regions where our service providers operate. By using Goeazzy, you understand that data may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence, subject to applicable safeguards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date.
